Partiamo dalla fondazione della band dove, quando e perché?!
La nostra band è nata nel 2012 quando avevamo tredici anni, avevamo appena iniziato il liceo. Io e Jake ci siamo incontrati e siamo diventati amici a causa di un interesse reciproco per la musica, quindi abbiamo deciso di fondare una band e siamo stati presentati a Matt tramite un amico perché suonava la batteria, quindi la nostra band ha iniziato da ragazzini che suonavano rumorosamente in un garage.
Pensiamo che il vostro ultimo album "Sundown" sia fantastico e meriti di essere ascoltato qui in Italia!
Grazie mille! siamo davvero contenti che ti piaccia. Significa così tanto per noi che finora alla gente sembra piacere.
Com'è la situazione del Rock nel tuo paese, quanto seguito ha?
La musica rock è grande in Scozia. siamo di Glasgow e ci sono così tante band qui, ci sentiamo felici di essere in una città dove si è circondati dalla musica. Ci sono così tante scene musicali diverse a Glasgow, quindi siamo entusiasti di esssere una parte della scena musicale qui.
Raccontaci del tuo paese e delle tue origini come musicisti.
Io (Finn) ho iniziato a suonare la chitarra quando avevo nove anni e da allora suono davvero. Mio cugino più grande mi ha mostrato un sacco di musica rock e suonava la chitarra, quindi mi è venuta voglia di suonare perché pensavo fosse così figo e volevo essere come lui. Jake ha iniziato a suonare la chitarra perché ha suonato così tanto Guitar Hero quando era un ragazzino che pensava che avrebbe potuto anche suonare il vero strumento. E Matt ha iniziato a suonare la batteria perché tra tutti i nostri amici era il migliore alla batteria e aveva una batteria.
Qual è la tua opinione sul rock n roll? Pensi che sia ancora vivo?
Penso che chiunque dica che la musica rock è morta non stia guardando abbastanza bene. Ci sono così tante nuove fantastiche band rock che sono emerse negli ultimi anni. stai mentendo a te stesso se dici che la musica rock è morta.
Il nostro blog qui in Italia cerca di fare del rock and roll la musica più ascoltata dai giovani, hai un'opinione o un consiglio?
Amiamo tutta la musica e pensiamo che tutti i generi musicali vivano in armonia. Ultimamente però ho notato un crescente interesse per la musica rock, ma i giovani ameranno sempre la musica rock.
Qual è stato il vostro miglior concerto?
Abbiamo suonato in uno show di release per il nostro album nell'ottobre dello scorso anno e penso che sia stato il nostro miglior show. è stato uno spettacolo così divertente da suonare e tutti si sono divertiti così tanto.
Quali sono i Vostri artisti preferiti?
Amiamo così tanti artisti e gruppi, quindi è davvero difficile dire quali siano i nostri preferiti, ma i gruppi che hanno influenzato maggiormente la nostra musica sono probabilmente Delta Sleep, Biffy Clyro e Nirvana
Raccontaci del vostro primo concerto.
Suonavamo nel nostro municipio quando avevamo quattordici anni e facevamo una cover di Everlong dei Foo Fighters. eravamo tutti così nervosi e avrei dovuto cantare ma ero troppo spaventato quindi abbiamo suonato la canzone solo strumentale. Fortunatamente abbiamo fatto strada e non ho più paura di cantare sul palco.

Ci piacerebbe venire in Italia! Non so quanto tempo ci vorrà ma appena possibile saremo lì! Abbiamo suonato un po' in Europa continentale quindi speriamo presto.

Let's start from the foundation of the band where, when and why?!
Our band started in 2012 when we were thirteen years old we'd just started high school. Me and Jake had met and become friends due to a mutual interest in music so we decided to start a band and were introduced to Matt through a friend because he played drums so our band just started as some kids being loud in a garage and we just stuck at it.
We think your latest album "Sundown" is fantastic and deserves to be heard here in Italy!
Thank you very much! we're really glad that you like it. It means so much to us that so far people seem to like it.
How is the situation of Rock in your country, how much following does it have?
Rock music is big in Scotland. we're from Glasgow and there are so many bands here, we feel happy to be in a city where we're surrounded by music. There are so many different music scenes in Glasgow so we're excited to a part of the music scene here.
Tell us about your country and your origins as musicians.
I (Finn) started playing guitar when I was nine years old and have been playing since then really. my older cousin showed me a lot of rock music and he played guitar so that just made me want to play because I thought he was so cool and I wanted to be like him. Jake started playing guitar because he played so much guitar hero when he was a kid that thought he might as well play the real instrument. And Matt started playing drums because he out of all our friends was the best at drums and had a drumkit.
What is your opinion on rock n roll? Do you think he's still alive?
I think anyone that says rock music is dead isn't looking hard enough. There are so many amazing new rock bands that have come up in the last few years. you're lying to yourself if you say rock music is dead.
Our blog here in Italy tries to make rock and roll the music most listened to by young people, do you have an opinion or advice?
We love all music and think that all music genres live in harmony. I've definitely seen increased interest in rock music lately though but young people will always love rock music.
What was your best concert?
We played a release show for our album in October last year and I think that was our best show. it was such a fun show to play and everyone had such a good time.
What are your favorite artists?
we love so many artists and bands so it's really hard to say which are our favourites but the bands that have influenced our music the most are probably Delta Sleep, Biffy Clyro and Nirvana
Tell us about your first concert.
we played our village hall when we were fourteen and we covered Everlong by the foo fighters. we were all so nervous and I was supposed to sing but I was too scared so we just played the song as an instrumental. luckily we've come along way and I'm not afraid to sing on stage anymore.

We would love to come to Italy! I'm not how long it will take for us to come through as soon as we can we'll be there! hopefully sooner than later, we've played a little bit in main land Europe so hopefully soon.
