Partiamo dalla fondazione della band dove, quando e perché?!
Håkan: Abbiamo iniziato a Stoccolma nel 2003 e abbiamo suonato il nostro primo concerto nell'aprile 2004. Volevamo una band con musica punk combinata con il rock n roll che trovi negli AC/DC degli anni '70. E volevamo divertirci sul palco ed esibirci. Non solo stare lì con pose rock.
Pensiamo che il vostro ultimo album "God Bless You All" sia fantastico e meriti di essere ascoltato qui in Italia!
Hakan: Grazie! Lo pensiamo anche noi. Abbiamo fatto questo album di tanto in tanto qui a Stoccolma durante gli anni della pandemia.
Com'è la situazione del Rock nel Vostro paese, quanto seguito ha?
Håkan: La gente in Svezia ama la musica rock, ma i media la odiano.
Ad esempio, abbiamo registrato il tutto esaurito in due club a Stoccolma e Göteborg senza alcuna promozione. Niente manifesti. Niente sui giornali. 1700 persone con il solo nostro post sui social.
Raccontateci del vostro paese e delle origini come musicisti.
Håkan: Io e Nico veniamo dal nord, Luleå e Boden. Neve, lunghi inverni e oscurità.
Viviamo a Stoccolma da oltre 20 anni ormai.
Frida viene da una piccola città un po' a nord di Stoccolma chiamata Östhammar. Anche lei vive a Stoccolma da oltre 20 anni.
Cecilia è nata a Stoccolma e vive anche lei qui.
Io e Nico suoniamo insieme dal 1993 in diversi gruppi punk. Frida ha suonato in molte band heavy metal e punk.
Cecilia aveva una band punk prima di noi. Suonava la chitarra (!) e cantava. Preferisco quando canta.. haha!
Qual è la vostra opinione sul rock n roll? Pensate che sia ancora vivo?
Håkan: Assolutamente! Il rock'n'roll non morirà mai. Solo le tendenze vanno e vengono, le cose vere durano.
Il nostro blog qui in Italia cerca di fare del rock and roll la musica più ascoltata dai giovani, hai un'opinione o un consiglio?
Håkan: Mio figlio maggiore ha 20 anni, adora ZZ TOP, Steppenwolf, AC/DC, Ceeedence tra gli altri. Non è un tipico giovane qui in Svezia, ma possiamo sicuramente vedere che ci sono molti giovani ai nostri spettacoli e questo è fantastico.
Per coinvolgere le persone nel rock n roll devi mostrare loro delle fantastiche clip dal vivo con buona musica rock n roll e portarle da una GRANDE band quando fanno uno spettacolo.
Oppure portali in macchina e suonare Down Payment Blues con gli AC/DC al massimo volume. Se alla persona non piace ancora il rock n roll, visita il medico. Il miglior medico è Doctor Rock, il nostro membro dell'equipaggio di Barcellona.
Qual è stato il Vostro miglior concerto?
Håkan: Ooh.. È davvero difficile da dire. La prima volta a Cuba molti anni fa è stata davvero qualcosa di speciale davanti a 16.000 persone.
Abbiamo fatto almeno 20 spettacoli perfetti , niente andava male e con un grande pubblico.
Uno spettacolo a Barcellona 3 anni fa è ancora nella mia mente come uno dei migliori di sempre.
Quali sono i vostri artisti preferiti?
Håkan: Al giorno d'oggi non ascolto molta musica perché scrivo e suono troppo, ma ascolto sempre gli AC/DC.
Ma ascolto tutto memoria. Può essere opera o heavy metal.
Nico è un ragazzo metal ma è come me. Gli piace tutto ciò che è fatto con il cuore, proprio come anche Frida e Cecilia ovviamente.
Frida anche metal, punk e grunge. Cecilia molto indie pop e rock n roll.
Raccontaci del tuo primo concerto.
Håkan: AC/DC 1991 a Stoccolma. Assolutamente incredibile. Li ascoltavo da quando avevo 6 anni e finalmente si sono fermati a soli 50 metri da me.
Era irreale e ho pianto di felicità.

Let's start from the foundation of the band where, when and why?!
Håkan: We started in Stockholm 2003 and played our first show in april 2004. We wanted a band with punk music combined with the rock n roll you find in AC/DC from the 70’s. And we wanted to have fun om stage and perform. Not just standing there with rock poses.
We think your latest album "God Bless You All" is fantastic and deserves to be heard here in Italy!
Håkan: Thank you! We think so too. We’ve been doing this album from time to time here in Stockholm during the pandemic years.
How is the situation of Rock in your country, how much following does it have?
Håkan: People in Sweden loves rock music but the media hates it.
For example, we sold out two clubs in Stockholm and Gothenburg with no promotion at all. No posters. Nothing in the newspapers.
1700 people with only our social media post.
Tell us about your country and your origins as musicians.
Håkan: Me and Nico comes from the north, Luleå and Boden. Snow, long winters and darkness.
We live in Stockholm since over 20 years now.
Frida comes from a small town a bit north from Stockholm called Östhammar. She also live in Stockholm since over 20 years.
Cecilia is born in Stockholm ans she also lives here.
Me and Nico has been playing together since 1993 in different punk bands. Frida has played in many heavy metal and punk bands.
Cecilia had one punk band before us. She played the guitar (!) and sang. I prefer when she sings.. haha
What is your opinion on rock n roll? Do you think he's still alive?
Håkan: Absolutely! Rock n roll will never die. Only trends come and go, real thing lasts.
Our blog here in Italy tries to make rock and roll the music most listened to by young people, do you have an opinion or advice?
Håkan: My oldest son is 20, he loves ZZ TOP, Steppenwolf, AC/DC, Ceeedence among others. He’s not a typical youth here in Sweden but we can definitely see that there are a lot of young people at our shows and that feels great.
To get people into rock n roll you need to show them some great live clips with good rock n roll music and bring them to a GREAT band when they do a show.
Or bring them in your car and play Down Payment Blues with AC/DC on maximum volume. If the person still doesn’t like rock n roll, visit the doctor. The best doctor is Doctor Rock, our crew member from Barcelona.
What was your best concert?
Håkan: Ooh.. That’s really hard to say. First time in Cuba many years ago was really something special in front of 16 000 people.
We’ve done at least 20 perfect shows when nothing was going bad, technical or playing and with a great audience.
One show in Barcelona 3 years ago is still in my mind as one of the best ever.
What are your favorite artists?
Håkan: I don’t listen to super much music nowadays cause I write too much and play to much but I always listen to AC/DC.
But I listen to everything made by heart. Can be opera or heavy metal.
Nico is a metal guy but he’s like me. He likes everything made with heart, just like Frida and Cecilia off course as well.
Frida also metal, punk and grunge. Cecilia a lot of indie pop and rock n roll.
Tell us about your first concert.
Håkan: AC/DC 1991 in Stockholm. Totally amazing. I had listen to them since I was 6 and finally they stod just 50 meters away from me.
It was unreal and I cried of happiness.
